YEA PROJECT

I'll recommed this project and others to everybody, I think everyone of us should have the chance to live this types of experiences because it is inexplicable and unique and to understand it you have to live it. I never thought that one week will be enough to raise a family. This exchange gave me a lot, I have returned full of happiness, experiences, new places and friends. Myself has mature after it. It's a expeience you never forget and it is always part of yourself. I only want to say thanks to all the people that make this works and mainly to the family who took me in because they were so frienly with me. Iwill repeat with no doubt whatsover

YEA is the acronomyn for young european artits Three countries are involved in this proyect, Germany, Poland and Spain and there are 16 students from each country. The principal topic is Romeo and Juliet's play. We are going to have 3 meetings , the first one in Germany the second one in Poland and the last one and the only we haven't done yet is in Spain. From each country there are two groups of 8 people so each group goes to different countries, for example in Spain the team1 went to Germany and the team2 went to Poland. In the meetings we work on everything relacionated with Romeo and Juliet and in the end we represent a scene of the play In this project we can learn about different cultures and places, improve our english and make new friends but especially have a great experience .

After a really long trip by bus and plane, we finally arrived to Varsovia, then we took a bus to go to Radom, the city where we were going to spend our week. We arrived pretty late because our plane was delayed, we felt tired and we only wanted to sleep. All the families were waiting for us, we meet our partners and then each one of us went to his house. I went by car to my house, in the trip I started to know my partner from Germany and from Poland, and her family. I felt comfortable because all of them were really friendly. When  we arrived home we went to bed as soon as we could because we knew that the next day was going to be really long

We always woke up at 7 to have breakfast and prepare ourselves to go to school. Polish students usually start school at 7 in the morning but this week we started at 8:30 because at 7 was too early for Spanish and Germany people. In the mornings, first we did somes activities and then we worked on the project. We had 2 breaks, one at 10 to eat a sandwich, which was really strange for us because we had already have breakfast,  and the other at 12 to have lunch in the cantine, where the food wasn’t so good😂

It was our first day, the school was big and it had a lot of classes for differents levels We went to the gym and there, first of all they welcome us and presented their school After the German team and the Spanish team presented their city and their school. we did some warm up activities to know each other. we did a circle, when someone got the bobine in his hands,  he had to say what he like doing his free time and keep passing the bobine to someone else until all of us has one thread. and also we wrote our names inside of our hand’s draw. After we the teachers divided us into 4 groups to start working in the project. Each groups wrote their expectation about this trip in a big poster. We also had a english class where we did some games about holiday and cities When the school finally finished, we went to a museum in a forest about  Radom’s way of life in the past. We went to school as all the days. We were divided again in groups of 3 people and we wanted to create a calendar so each group had a month and a topic. We started to work on its design. My month was april and it had to be about friendship. In the middle of the morning we went to visit the center of Radom, there we visited two theaters and the city hall,. After visiting the last theater,  it was so near to the shopping center so we went shopping. We didn't spend too much time on it because we had to go to a candy factory, where we did lollipops. We went to our house a few hours to rest and have dinner because at night we had a barbeque in the house of a friend.

We woke up really early because we were going to visit Varsovia. First we visited the Opera House and a guide explained us about the differents parts of a opera and its rooms and what they were for We went to the city center and while we were walking around the city another guide explained us about the history of Varsovia Before leaving we went to a really big shopping center. When we arrived to Radom we went to a park near a lake and there we played differents types of music from our countries. We went home, I had dinner with all the family together and I watched a film eating some ice cream. It was a long but fantastic day!

In the morning as always, we did some activities to keep knowing each other We were given a table and we had to found someone who… We finished our canlendary and each group presented and explained their month. We started to prepare the act of Romeo and Juliet. The teachers did groups for: acting, makeup artist, decoration and presenters We spent the whole day rehearsing and doing the decoration for the set. After school, my partners and I went to the hotel of my polish partner's father and there we ate an ice cream. We also went to her grandmother’s house to have dinner unless we were completely awful. At night we had a great barbeque in the hotel, we ate and then we played music and dance a lot and we had fun together.
